Compressed Coco Brick

€12.00

Coir Bricks are comprised of ground coir and compacted into a brick shape. The procedure of optimizing this growing media is substantial. The husks are removed from coconuts and soaked to loosen and soften the fibers. They are then removed from the water and let to dry for up to a year. After drying, the fibers are separated and treated. The fibers needed to manufacture coco coir bricks are carefully chopped and compacted.

Rehydrating Process:

Coco coir, as a solid brick, must be moistened in order to produce the soft, fluffy soil-like mixture. Simply set the brick in a bucket, add the recommended amount of water, and leave it overnight. If too much water is used when manufacturing coco coir bricks, you may need to let the mixture sit and dry, since too much water can harm your plants by drowning the roots.
